Holy Premium on Loyalty

That is why the New Testament places such an emphasis on the corporate wholeness of the church.

Are you loyal?

God says, “Do not forsake your friend and the friend of your father” (Proverbs 27:10).

The Lord cares more for us as individuals than anyone in this world. Ironically, then, because he cares the most for us individually, he tells us to put our highest premium on what is social.

God wants his people to enjoy being loyal. Being loyal is good for the community. It is good for you. Just think about how much time you can save by being loyal. Pursuing other options takes more time than finding ways to be constant and faithful in friendship.

People who belong to Jesus Christ cannot navigate a godly life with a mentality of “me first.” That is why the New Testament places such an emphasis on the corporate wholeness of the church. Paul even describes church members as “loyal partners” (Philippians 4:3).

Today, decide to love God, love Life, and love being loyal.

Now that’s something Celebrate!
